For my 60th birthday, my childhood friend and I celebrated at Mardi Gras by joining the Krewe of Ponchatrain. The vibrant colors, dazzling costumes, and wild parade floats were constant eye candy for me. This photo I took from one of trhe many amazing dance crews epitomized the spirit of Mardi Gras to me.
